Mondays aren't always ick!

Got a new project to work on, i'm the lead on it with up to two other programmers if i need them. It's an Animal control system. It's not looking to be a tight schedule too which is good cause other stuff always comes up. I have a great honking two inches of paper in a binder to start reading (why am i not already? nearly lunch time!) today. I love developing new stuff though :)

Got the programmer in charge of the payroll stuff to look up my net pay for Thursday, the one with the retroactive pay on it. Unofficially of course because HR can always make adjustments until it goes into the bank on Thursday. I netted a little more than i expected which is good. That more than pays for the plane ticket so a few new travel clothes are in order i think :) I want to check out that clothing store i saw at the travel show :)
