(no subject)

Some rock and roll boogie playing in the coffee shop this morning. I almost succumbed to the temptation to shake my booty along with it but i thought that might be a little much for the staff first thing on a Monday morning. That and it would probably throw my back out and that would be doubly embarassing LOL

Up at my desk, it's very quiet in here this morning, only one other person here so far which is unusual. Oh and the new general manager for our department starts today. He was brought round to shake hands a couple of weeks ago and i've seen him lurking about now and then.

We had our one brief respite from the fog and mist and it's back again today though they promise it will clear up later. Oh but there's also a chance of showers. Huh?

Brief speak to the travel Gods that the proposed trip this weekend happens. They have a lot to make up for after April.

Bugger Bugger Bugger

Denise called me this morning... on her way to the airport. Noooooooo!!!! She got called in off her vacation to go to Montreal for work!!! That means Cape Breton is out this weekend :( She's hoping to get back before next weekend so we could go then.

Shite.

The Entry for the Week

Josephine called. Her ex was due to fly in this afternoon for a 9 day visit with the kids. Staying at her house. Yes. Because it was in their divorce agreement since he guarantees the mortgage on the house. He's also made many noises about hoping they would get back together when she's never given him any encouragement at all. This is too long a story to go into but suffice it to say this man is deeply entrenched in denial. She's stressed and said she didn't know why. You don't? I do. lol

But i digress slightly. The entry for the week...

His flight was delayed. One of the plane engines got struck by lightening over Hamilton Ontario (he's en route from Edmonton in the west). I said, Josephine, if you have that much pull, i'm joining the Baptists with you LOL
