Next time you're nagged into contributing to a bake sale or have to bring something for a pot luck, try this LOL Kids generally love it but adults might be a bit squeamish about it but i've been giggling about it for the past hour.
Thanks for the link aodonoghue, Photo of the kitty litter cake here ! Now i've not seen the kitty litter with the green bits before so i suppose if you wanted to, you wouldnt' have to have the green food colouring. :))
Ok, i just found out that they now do opera with subtitles. Eh? Someone standing on the side of the stage with big cue cards, tossing them over their shoulder into the orchestra pic like Bob Dylan? No apparently it looks like a Powerpoint presentation, a slide show sort of. I was picturing that running digital banner. Ok now this is Toronto, by the way. Probably the more traditional Royal Opera houses of Europe would eschew such atrocities. And while i'd like to go to an opera and know what they're actually saying rather than just the gist of the storyline, it does seem rather sacreligious to me lol
I was just chatting to my friend in Ireland, Rose, and she asked me if i had travel plans for next year yet. Well sort of. And i have an idea where this is going. I was right on one score, she and her fella are going to get married hoping to do it in the summer. But she floored me with this request, they want me to take their photos. :) They want to have everyone involved with the wedding from their friends rather than strangers. She's also asked another person from the chat room to play the organ if they can get the church. The alternative venue is a civil service on the beach. She's been married (Catholic) and divorced and that might be a problem for the CofI to marry in the church.
Anyway i guess i'll have to do some serious saving if i'm to spend a few days in Ireland next summer.
