The Wedding Singer

Ok...... My friend Jo has many sisters, one of whom is tall and rather on the somber side. She's not really "Miss Mary Sunshine", you see. Anyway. She attended a wedding recently where, at the reception, instead of clinking spoons on glasses to get the happy couple to kiss, you had to go up to a microphone and sing the first line of a love song. Rita, being Rita, couldnt' think of a love song but she did have this one song that was going through her head all day. Rita, i might add, as are most of the family, Baptists. So you think you may know what's coming don't you?

Rita, never a very forward person in the first place, gets up to the microphone and lets loose with the first line of that song.

And it was....

Drop kick me Jesus through the goalposts of life.



I kid you not! The happy couple were stunned. But kissed once they recovered their shock hahahahahhaah
