I wasn't going to because i had no clue what i would do for it, but i *am* now going to dress up for the office Halloween party on Friday. My friend Kelly has a sari (or at least, a long length of cloth that she decorated and used for a sari costume) so i am going to borrow that. It's bright red! :) I will bring in some dark eye makeup, my fake nose ring, some bracelets, a red pencil for my forehead dot. Not sure if i'll slick my hair back or just leave it.

Thursday is the United Way charity kickoff event and they always have a lot of outdoor activities at the Transit depot. They pick you up and take you there and back by bus and they have a barbeque, dunk tank, 50/50 draw, Bus pull and a Tug of War as well. I have never gone before but i think i might this year as things have quieted down at work this week post-election. All the reports are finalized and submitted and it's all over for another 4 years barring a by-election if one occurs. Between this event and the party i think i'll take proper photos instead of digital ones though i will probably bring the digital one too. You can see how it's going can't you LOL But for trips where i know i'll be taking a large amount of photos, and will want most of them printed, the print camera is still the best and cheapest option.

Another new icon. I LOVE it!

We have a big buffet here at work on Friday for the Halloween party. I am going to make egg sandwiches (chopped egg, mayo, salt and pepper, on white bread and on whole wheat). I LOVE egg sandwiches but i hardly ever make them. They are a MUST for wedding and baby showers, and any other kind of pot luck spread. My mom always puts in a little dollop of mustard to give them colour and a bit of zip and it's reallllllly good. I love chopped up onion in them too. Just for fun...

And while we're on the subject of food, it's lunchtime and i've brought a Lean Cuisine "Ginger Garlic Steak" with noodles. Never tried this one before but it sounded good. Also picked up some Dare "Vinta" crackers in the Dollar store! which are my new favourite crackers. They're a multi grain type and are very yummy. I am very pleased as they are nearly twice the price in the grocery store. They also have Terry's Raspberry Chocolate "orange" there too so that would be a dollar as well. Possibly 2 but there was no sign saying otherwise. Must.... resist.....chocolate............
