Dumb Cluck
Jan. 21st, 2005 08:27 amRemind me, when the power goes out, you not only have to reset the clock but you have to reset the alarm too! DOH. I realized the power had gone out when i got home last night but the vcr maintained it's program settings, i only had to reset it's clock. Went to bed and never noticed that the clock was flashing because it was flashing a time, not 12:00. Woke up in the night. Clock said 11 something. Woke up again later and i knew i'd been asleep for awhile because i don't move much when i sleep so when i wake up i'm often stiff. I was.
The clock was *flashing* 12 something. Hmmmmmmm....
got up, got my watch.
it was 3:45.
Reset the clock.
Fall back to sleep.
Wake up about 10 to 6... oh good got a few minutes to snooze.
Wake up at 6:30. Yikes!
Realize that although the alarm is turned on, it was reset to 12:00.
AND i realized that when i reset the clock, i had set it for p.m. not a.m.
Well it *was* 3:45 a.m. when i set it lol
All sorted. 6:30 isn't so bad. I didn't have to rush to catch the bus or anything. Still plenty of time to shower and dress and check email before the bus at 7 and here i am. Ready for Friday.
