Movie Review: Sideways

Of the Oscar nominated films, I've only seen two so far: Neverland and now, Sideways. I didn't know it was nominated when I made plans to go and it's somewhat of an odd choice. It's not a blockbuster. It's not something the whole family would enjoy. It's not an "issue" nor is it a biopic. It has that feel of being a sleeper, a small film that probably rose to lofty aspirations by word of mouth (I certainly hadn't heard of it until it was nominated) and it has 5 nominations, Picture, supporting actor and actress, director and writing. But, never mind that…that's not why you're reading this, is it?

Thai One On

Going out to dinner after work with a coworker. We do this a few times over a year, usually when i have been on a trip and she wants to see the photos. Didn't think she was at work today though. When i went over this morning her computer was turned off but she's here and we're going and we're going to try Thai food. We're both Thai virgins so this will be an experience. (Ohh, that didn't come out quite the way i meant it lol) Hopefully we'll get a waiter/waitress that knows their stuff and can suggest some things we might like. I think the place we're going is just a small place (Blowers Street for anyone that knows Halifax).

Java continues to frustrate. No more whining, i'm just sayin'.

I really need to get back to the gym. I shall go this weekend. Really. I also need to pick up some groceries.
