Oct. 29th, 2005 08:54 pmCold out there today. Soon time to break out the winter jacket.
Returned the fleece pullover that i bought Dad yesterday as Mom thought the arms wouldn't be long enough. they didn't have any others in the "tall" sizes so i'll either try ... hmm... where did she say? oh the Sears Catalogue, or go to George Richards which is for big/tall men. He's not big but he's still tall.
Mom went to see Dad last night and he gave her the thumbs up and said he was raring to go. Hearing that very positive note choked me up. Probably not the right term to use under the circumstances lol he's got a voice, but it's still pretty rough. He has to be very quiet for a few days. Very little talking, no laughing, no crying and no whispering!
Mom was really tired today, just worn right out. It's been a long week. I went over and took the car and did some errands for her, ran the vac and had a nice visit. Brought the car home for overnight. Was going to visit Dad tomorrow after a visit with Tracey but sis is going and i thought maybe while he needs to rest his voice, just one of us at a time would be better. I'll go after work on Sunday. He's stlil not very strong and i don't think will come home for a few days yet but he's feeling brighter and better and that's good news.
