Apr. 25th, 2007 08:38 amIt's so nice to see the sun! I guess it would be too much to ask to see leaves on the trees yet. A few crocuses are bravely poking their noses up, too, here and there.
I don't know what it is with the bus lately. It's been very full for the last few weeks. University is out so you'd think that would cut down the numbers but it is worse than before. And of course you get these yobbos that sit in the middle of a three-seat section and decide that their backpack needs its own seat as well. This morning, as well, even though the bus was standing room only, a man got on with a guide dog. Someone did let him sit down though. I see this man on the bus during my commute home quite a bit. The dog is a golden lab and is a lovely animal. On crowded busses, if it's the low floor type of bus with the side facing seats, the dog scooches under the seat, lies down and sticks his head out between the owner's legs and rests his chin on the man's feet. You don't see German Shepherds much as guide dogs now like you used to but you do see more labrador retrievers, at least around here. Beautiful and gentle dogs. I've even seen a full sized poodle used. I did see one woman who had a smallish black lab but the dog was crap, kept bumping her into poles and people.
Hmmm think i need caffeine and something to eat. I did have some breakfast but just a banana and yogurt and that was clearly not substantial enough.
