Jun. 7th, 2007 08:27 pmI'm so full.... *groan* We went to Jack Astor's for Justin's birthday. I had a Thai chicken coconut curry ... there were a few words in the title, i forget them all :) You get the gist. Big mound of sticky rice in the middle. MmmmMMMmmmmm! Very rich. Laurie had pre-ordered a cake so the wait staff all came over with the cake, candles and a very short song.
I had to laugh though. Mom asked if we were going to watch the finale of the Sopranos. (no, i've never watched it before, no reason to start now, sez i) She doesn't watch it either but said she wanted to see if Tony went to jail or if he got wasted. eh? Didn't expect her to say that.
Weather has been kind of crap but yesterday and today at least turned out sunny in the end.
Am going to be on a 5 day XML course at the end of the month and a 2 day one for Paintshop Pro in July.
Also having dental surgery in July. I called and scheduled it. I have a tooth that's been bothering me and i won't go into the details of what they have to do but suffice it to say stitches are involved. Urgh.
Oh yeah. I've been hearing about "cat macros" lately. didn't know what the heck they were but i've seen them. Now i know there's a name for it. They are those funny pictures of cats with badly spelled or grammatically incorrect words stamped on them. I came across this page today which actually has a lot of quite funny ones though it's heavy on graphics even though it's just medium sized thumbnail pics that you click on for the larger one.
