Nov. 30th, 2007 07:16 pmBack to earth. Tough one this time. But the flights were good at least, had empty seats beside me both times, luggage showed up .... Travel gods 3 Aggravation bitch 0
I coughed my way across the atlantic, that damn congestion is still there and driving me insane but i'll sort it out. I guess it's hung on because we were going all the time and out in the damp a lot.
I got to Halifax, while waiting in line at customs, i tried my new phone with the Rogers SIM card and the phone wasn't working, it just kept trying to start up . I wondered if it was no reception or a dead battery. Damn thing is supposed to work here, it's triband and unlocked. Anywa6y i got through the red tape and paperwork and went to get the bus ticket. Asked when the next bus was.... 5 minutes. Eek... would i have time to run to the toilet? The girl at the desk said ask this guy, he's the driver. He said yeah no problem go on, i'll mind your bags for you. You know you're home in Nova Scotia when you're willing to trust a stranger with your luggage lol Well he was standing there and so was the bus ticket seller so i figured it was ok and it was. Back on the bus, and he even lent me his cell phone to call Mom to come meet me. I messed around with the phone and i think maybe the sim card wasn't in quite right because the phone started to work, albeit with a battery that was about to die. When i got home, it was acting up again but i plugged it in and it worked when i did that. Oh and the computer didn't want to start up which is something i half expected as i think my power supply is nearly borked. It finally did though, and i won't be turning it off lol i do need to get a power supply and soon.
I have to sort out the rest of mine and Graham's photos for public consumption probably over the weekend.
