It snowed all morning and though it's mostly stopped now, it's still blowing it around a bit. there was a Corrie get together out of town today and i hadn't said i would go. The closer the weekend came, as I could see that snow was forecast, i was definitely not going and i'm glad i didn't. It would have been heavier up by where the gtg was and would have to drive over a "mountain", well as much of a mountain as we get here in NS (Mount Thom). Nope, i'm glad to be home and warm today. Making a pot of spag and doing laundry.

In other news, i was looking through the Daily News. They have a weekend round up of online reader comments of the news during the week. I actuallly made a comment on a photo that went with the story about a van that crashed killing 7 students and an adult. The photo showed a couple of teenage boys hoisting another one up to a basketball net, putting flowers in it while another one with reversed ball cap and a bouquet in his hands waits his turn. The lads that died were all from a basketball team traveling home from a game. I wrote that it was one of the most poignant photos i'd ever seen and they used that for the headline for the sum up! I read the words and thought, gee that's what i said! And it was.
