Miroslav Satan... it's pronounced Sah-TAN... but he looks a bit Sah-tanic don't he? He's a player for the Pittsburgh Penguins, the hockey team that just won the Stanley Cup, one of the oldest sports trophes there is. I don't watch hockey these days but growing up, i used to watch it every Saturday night with Dad. My team was Montreal Canadiens, his team was anyone but! lol! He liked Boston and he liked Toronto's teams and Boston did have a good team back in the 70s. I got away from watching it and have rarely watched a game over the last 20 years, but i will watch once in awhile. The final game where the Cup is won makes for good hockey and tonight was no different. There's a local young man who made the league at a young age and was made captain of his team, the youngest one now ever to hoist the Stanley Cup. He's the new star of the game, like Wayne Gretzky was 20 years ago and Bobby Orr was back in the 70s, among others. They kept mentioning his supporters in his hometown of Cole Harbour which is one of the communities that make up the Halifax Regional Municipality so he's a local lad. I kept thinking ... what about the hometowns of the other players? Anyway, i watched because of the local boy and it was a very good game. Well done! That will probably be it for my hockey watching for another 10 years :)
