Sep. 11th, 2009 06:46 amSo yes, i went after work and joined NuBodys. No putting it off. I have an hour with a trainer on Monday after work to get some suggestions on programs and i want to find out how to use some of the machines that i've not used before or that are different than the similar ones at the Sportsplex. They didn't have the month to month payment on payroll deduction anymore so i must contact our intranet people to change that. I signed up for the year anyway because though they do have monthly plans, it's not payroll deduction so i don't get the corporate discount. Or maybe i do but i didn't ask, i just assumed. Payroll deduction is so much easier. I'll let the Sportsplex run out in January and this is only a couple of dollars more per pay. Barely noticeable.
I made a recipe from my new Jamie Oliver cookbook yesterday, salmon fish cakes. The only thing i changed was to put dill in them because i didn't have parsley. The recipe didn't call for onion in the mix which i usually have in fishcakes and i didn't put it in though i may do next time. Yes, next time. I quite liked them so will probably make them again. I cut the recipe i half, though. 8 good sized fish cakes is far too many and i don't freeze much stuff because i never get round to using it. 4 was better. Two for last night and two for tonight.
