(no subject)

The funeral for my cousin D. was this morning. I stayed over at Mom's to make it easier to leave from there. It was a very nice service, I have to say. D.'s son-in-law spoke and did a very good job and captured her essence quite well as did the minister. You actually believed he had known her years but had only actually sat down for a visit with the family and gleaned all that information from that one visit. There were sandwiches and coffee/tea after and my aunt was holding up quite well. My cousin, D's sister, not so good but everyone else seemed to have hit the numb stage.

Mom and i went for lunch after and looked around the shops for a bit and then i came back here and vegged out. One more day and then the weekend.
