Apr. 1st, 2014 02:24 pmI felt crap today so I stayed home. And there was freezing rain and now it's snowing so i'm just as glad. The Buckley's pills seem to be working, my nose isn't quite as bad though i'm still feeling rough. I do hope this lifts a bit before Friday. Sometimes it's just a cold and it goes away. Sometimes it goes into my chest. That's the last thing i need.
Looks like Graham's dad may be moved to a hospice soon. There's a charity organization called MacMillan that is very good over there. I thought they were a cancer charity but apparently they do all sorts to do with terminal patients. I suppose cancer patients make up the majority. They have resources and councillors, too. Once his dad is in a hospice, I think the visiting hours might be a bit more flexible and he'll have a comfortable room and hopefully a more comfy bed. That seems to be one of his main complaints. All of Graham's brother's family are coming up to see him on Saturday. They live a 4 or 5 hour drive away in Ipswich so I guess I'll end up meeting a few of them I haven't met yet. I've met his sister-in-law and one of the nephews. There are two more lads and a neice though not sure if she'll be there or not. She does live locally but has a half dozen kids apparently.
