Dress fail
Jul. 20th, 2014 07:15 pmOh noooo. The website where I'd found a dress i wanted for the wedding appears to be discontinuing that style! Aggh! Spent some time last night looking around that site for alternatives and saw a few and also saw some nice dresses on another site. I'll find something even if i have to have something made which will cost a bit more but i'll get something that fits.
On the good side, I've definitely got the Rovers Return backdrop for the wedding from the local Corrie group. The guy that's the "guardian" of the backdrops even offered to deliver, install and remove it for us. Now i have to see if i can rent the Tardis from the local guy that has one. He owns, I think, a comic book store. I know it's been installed at the local convention, Hal-Con every year and he also has a Dalek. Graham nearly jumped out of his chair when he heard there is the possibility of a full size Dalek. I think he'd love to have that even more than the Tardis! I must see what I can do. My coworker Kelly knows the guy that owns it so i've got a contact.
