(no subject)

Yep, that icon is me dragging my arse this week. I had a dry cough on Monday and Tuesday morning I got up and i had a chest cold. It was my birthday and I had to spend it home sick. In fact, it turned into a wallop of a cold and i've been home ever since. I thought I might be better on Wednesday but Thursday brought new joys and it's gone from my chest to my head and i'm really feeling like ick. To add insult to injury, I lost my internet midday two days ago! Aggh! They've been clearing the ice off the roof and apparently have damaged some  cables. They finally came today because they had to wait for the roof to be safe for them to get up there and diddle the wires. All works well now, though, with brand new cable lines. They were surprised when I said i had no interruption in my television feed. They said it call comes through the same cable but obviously it can't. The support desk i talked to weren't surprised, they said there are different feeds, probably different coming into the building or something. Anyway it's back and I'm back online.

I still haven't got my new pc set up and I may have a bash at that this weekend rather than waiting for the guy to come do it all for me. I'm sure it's not that difficult. He still has to come and transfer the data from my old hard drives.

I've made an appointment to speak to a florist next weekend. Yay. I have to go talk to someone at the local spa, too, about hair and makeup. Just the cake to organize after that and the lady i work with who does it with her niece is on sick leave but I think should be available by the end of the month. I also want to sit down with the hotel people one more time as the event gal is new and i want to touch base with her.
