Because several of the servers I need to do my work were being modified, refreshed etc., they kept resetting all the permissions and it was one road block, brick wall or logjam after another. It's not the admin's fault, it's the buggy software that's doing it. At one point today I emailed yet again to say something wasn't working, attached a screen shot of the error and said "You guys are testing me, right???" because it sure felt like that.
Still struggling with the remains of my cold, so that's trying my patience and energies. Will keep it low key this weekend to try to knock it on the head.
Big news here today in Halifax, we're getting a huge IKEA store! We had one years ago but they closed it in 1988. They're going to build this rather than use any existing building and it's going to be very large with all the bells and whistles like a cafe, play area, and even selling takeaway meals which might be interesting. I'm looking forward to it, though it won't be ready to open until later in 2017. The transit people say they'll reroute the bus so that it goes in and stops at the door, too, which is great!
