Dear Santa... I've been a good girl this year, relatively speaking, with only one or two minor slip ups. Maybe being sick on holiday makes up for it though (the guilt and "pity" maneouver). Here's my wish list for Christmas should you be receptive to suggestions, just in case you're still looking for that one special something :)

  • Latest book by Anne Marie MacDonald
  • a milk frother (saw a battery operated on in Backyard and Veranda)
  • microwave
  • digital camera (ok, that's a long shot lol)
  • Diana Gabaldon's new book about Lord John Grey
  • if there is such a thing, a complete works of Jane Austen
  • New book on the Impressionists, very large picture/coffee table book i saw in Coles
  • Movie certificates
  • DVD: Sense and Sensibility, Alien, Sunset Boulevard

See? I don't want much ;)

EVERYBODY wants a bloody milk frother!

I got one free with my coffee maker but, unfortunately, gave it away to someone at work almost immediately. As soon as I passed comment that I had one (and obviously didn't want it as I don't take milk!), a whole slew of colleages leapt at the chance to take it off my hands...

If I'd known you were after one, at the time, you could've had it! :/

That's the way the turkey burps sometimes :) At least you didn't get stuck with it.

"Froffy" Coffees are quite popular these days. I discovered chai tea, sort of like a spiced tea latte, my first trip out to the west coast. I love them but they're quite expensive at the coffee shop and would love to make it at home.

I do not. I can't think of any situation when one would come in useful.

What can I say? We are amongst the elite few who have no use for these futile devices...

I can imagine it could maybe be used as some kind of tap/pipe/sink cleaner, at a push, but really there are better tools for the job.

Frothy coffee is a concept of Evil.

As an afficionado of the horror genre how could you possibly be so dismissive of anything evil? ;)))

Starspawn of Cthuluan descent being bred in the cellar has nothing on the evil of something vile like frothy coffee... or worse yet, that creepy bloody icon of your's - in all seriousness, WTF are they supposed to be anyway?!? :)
