Off to painting this afternoon. I'm sort of thinking that after today i may have it looking decent enough, even if not finished, to post a link. I've been recording it's evolution.

Dad has kindly offered to drive me there as it's cold outside and is picking me up after. That's the one i need really, it's tricky taking a wet canvas on a bus. Going to Mom's for supper and down to see Sis's new apartment after! :)

Gym yesterday. Did one of the preprogrammed courses on the treadmill but it was a bit too hard. I kept having to downgrade or skip stages so at least i know which ones i can do and which i can't. I can always speed up the pace if i want to do it a bit faster. The courses vary in speed and the height that they incline the base. They're only 20 minutes though and you can sign up for as long as 30. I did about 5-7 minutes before i started the course and about 5 minutes after. I think if i do it next time, i'll do the 10 minutes first and then the course. Tomorrow night is the water exercise class.

Glad you all liked the movie review. I really want to see Lost in Translation but since i see it being advertised as out on dvd, even though it's still on in the theatre, i think i'll end up renting it instead. Would like to see Mystic River too but i have a feeling that will wait for dvd as well.

My friend Colleen and i were talking about movies and she has seen that one Last Samurai. I wasn't going to see it since I'm not that keen on Tom Cruise but she said it was really very good. She's the same as me on TC, we both feel that anyone could do just as good a job or better in the roles he plays. I don't think he's that great an actor, and most movies he's in that i do like, it's in spite of him. She did say that his co-star, Ken Watanabe was fantastic and i see he's been nominated for an Oscar. I think i'll wait for the dvd or for it to come on paytv.

The flicks nominated for Best Picture were BEST PICTURE
THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING
LOST IN TRANSLATION
MASTER AND COMMANDER: THE FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD
MYSTIC RIVER
SEABISCUIT
...
I'm surprised Big Fish barely made it to the list of all the nominations, for music score and surprised Master and Commander got the nod for best picture. Not surprised LOTR is in there, haven't seen any of the others. Heard lots of people liked Seabiscuit but i really don't think i'll be bothered seeing it.
