And there were two very guilty faces weren't there? Dev and Deirdre sure looked caught out. Dev is too good with a quick lie and i had to laugh at Deirdre upset because it made her look like "Drunken desperate Deirdre"... Um... she was!! Even so, Dev did find her attractive at one point and was flattered by her attentions but it's not like him to drop himself in it so firmly. Tell me though, i don't think it's legal to fire someone for sleeping with the boss when it's consensual. Deirdre didn't out and out tell Geena she just let it slip that there was more to it than Geena knew. Dev did it all himself.
I understand Ashley's pain and even though there was no test, you just know it's going to come back and bit Maxine on the ass eventually. It's a soap after all! Aww did you check out that Tigger suit on Joshua!! Fashion award of the week! Hey i thought they were getting Maxine to breast feed at one point in the hospital but she isnt' now!
Poor Fred.... just broke my heard when he said he was just a vain old man who thought he could be loved. I almost thought he would have a heart attack and in real life, under these circumstances, he might have had. Notice how they had Eve with a lot less makeup today. Did Archie's mortuary revelations put anyone else off their toast this morning? Ew! He's turning into a one dimensional one joke character. Loved Blanche letting Deirdre think Archie spent the night. Did you notice Shelly sweeping up all those fag ends in the morning? Do that many people miss the ashtrays? There are certainly a lot of them around the bar and they get emptied regularly after all. Why was Kevin using the pub phone? I thought he had his own mobile...at least he uses one for the garage on calls. Nice touch having graffiti on the clinic sign. Of course Kevin would lie to Molly. The man has very little back bone and what's left is yellow! Blanche sure knows her horses doesn't she? Does that worry anyone else? Jack is back! I hate these long unexplained absences when so much of the action is centered around the pub, and talk of being short handed, not even a mention of Jack! Now the actor in real life has had health problems but they haven't happened yet where we are seeing.
Aidan. Nasty piece of work. At least he can act which is more than the recent yobbo like Ryan, Kirk, Jason and Luke (urgh) could do. Well i take that back. At least i HOPE the fellow that plays Kirk is acting! Otherwise he's in big trouble!
