Well everyone liked the "costume" though one person thought i was a witch and one a gypsy and I suppose it's closer to the gypsy what with the off the shoulder top and all the jewellry. One guy made a dog costume complete with stuffed head and paws. Another gal was a scarecrow complete with straw and we had a tin man and talked one young fellow into dressing up as Dorothy, brave soul! Complete with a wicked witch we had most of Oz there! Another in a huge round yellow fleece thing as a Smartie or M&M and another witch as well. We had a Genie and a skeleton and the rest were minor things, masks and makeup or hats only. The two winners chosen by the director were the dog and "Dorothy" just because he had the nerve to appear as such! They won a day off work! There were prizes, mostly donated tshirts and pens and laptop cases. I picked up a little vinyl folder with a pen and notepad in it and it also had a box of three pewter bookmarks.

Buffet was heaving with food as usual everything from salad to samosas to stuffed cheese and olive manicotti, rice, wings, meatballs, veggie lasagna, pasta salad and lots of desserts including an apple topped cheesecake :) Something for everyone!

There's always so much that even just a taste of everything is too much. But the apple topped cheesecake was divine!
