Annoyances:
Fucking kettle. Well not the kettle. I think it is actually the plug on the stove that's borked. I plugged it in tonight and i heard a snap but the light in the kettle came on so i thought maybe it was the fridge motor. But the kettle didn't heat up and the light was off when i went in to check. Now the toaster doesn't work in it either so it must have blown a fuse. Only i just changed a fuse in it a few months ago and before that it went for years and years without having needed a new fuse. The kettle did heat up plugged into an outlet in the wall so i wonder if the kettle i gave to Dad to look at is buggered at all. Funny thing is though, the toaster worked in the stove plug when that kettle wouldn't. Now it doesn't.

I think i'll get a multi plug thingo like a surge protector but without the surge thing. There's only one accessable plug in the kitchen other than the one on the stove and the microwave and toaster are usually plugged into that. If i have one of those power bar things i can easily access it for the kettle or toaster and can unplug those when not in use. Radio Shack. Tomorrow.

Closer was good. I'll have to have a think about it before i attempt to write a review of some kind. But initially, it wasn't a feel good movie, it wasn't a love story, what was going on in that movie had nothing to do with love no matter what any of them said. And Clive Owen is absolutely stunningly gorgeous. *letch*

I may get him to look at it. But if i suspect it's a problem with the stove, i should probably call the rental office. I'll change the fuse once more and see if that works first, and how long it works.

It might be the fuse inside the actual power point, not the kettle's plug. Don't go messing with the wall socket sweetie, I don't want you to have a blackened face and frizzy hair while smoke pours out of your ears lol.

Oh i won't be messing with sockets. I changed the fuse in the stove and the plug now works again. I also bought a multi outlet thingo that plugs in the wall so i can leave the microwave and toaster plugged in and plug in the kettle too if i need to or anything else. We'll see how long the fuse in the stove lasts.

If it blows again it means something is wrong with the power point I guess.
