The last day off

The last of a four day weekend. What a nice break and.... because i get every third Friday off, this coming Friday is it and that means a three day work week!

Sweet!

Had a lovely boiled dinner with ham and cabbage and veg last night at Mom's and a visit with Sis and kids after. Today was my day to catch up on some housework and the place looks, well, not completely tidy, but it's better than it was. 2 loads of laundry done and put away, dishes done and put away, bathroom scrubbed, Dickens Village taken down and put away, several bags of rubbish, closet junk and recyclables taken down to the bins.

Some day i'm going to go through this place, gather odds and ends, knicks and knacks and things i seem to be hoarding like old cassette tapes, cd's i don't really like, books i don't really need to keep and take it all out to a flea market some Sunday. Might take out a couple of my paintings as well and see what the reaction is.

I really have to remember to see if i can get a copy of Norton 2005 from the guy at work that sold me the puter. Mine is coming up for renewal soon and if i can't get it from him i'll have to buy it.

Just FYI, Tim and I both use AVG and like it a lot.
I have mine set to update automatically each day.

I used to use AVG but because i used Netscape for mail, it didn't have a setting to scan that. Only Outlook/MS products. I use Mozilla Thunderbird for mail now. Plus Norton came with the new puter and i can sometimes get a copy from work.

Tim uses Thunderbird and Firefox (and I do at times). He has no trouble with AVG, for what it's worth. :)

I have a garage full of stuff for the car boot/flea market,its just having the motivation to get up early and set up a stall the stuff is too good to throw away, and I take a lot of stuff to the charity shop anyway, but a lot of the things are the boys, you know games and stuff, so I reckon the money should be for him.

PS I don't work any fridays ;)

lol yeah I only get paid for 20 hours

was better when I worked all day monday, all day tuesday and half a day wednesday then the rest of the week was mine. I might go back to that :)
