Aggh... I missed the first 40 minutes. Did i miss anything good? I did see how it ended though. That son of Bree's is appalling!

I didn't do a lot today other than some laundry and run the vaccuum. Corrie was on from 8 - 10 and from noon to 2 and that ate up half the day waiting for that to finish. I think i'll have to watch through the week and make my notes then for my sunday reviews so that i can at least skip the second part on sunday afternoons.

Have a Monday you can all live with tomorrow ;)

Lynette learns that no good deed goes unpunished when she momentarily befriends the mean Mrs. McClusky. (Mrs McC is your typical old sourpuss with a sarcastic tongue and motor-mouth syndrome. There is some interesting verbal sparring between her and Lynette during the show, and Lynette ends up more or less befriending her in an "armed neutrality" sort of a way.)

Susan's mother decides to try and jump start her and her daughter's love lives. Susan later finds her mother in her kitchen with a man she picked up, and Susan asks her mother to get rid of him. (I can't beging to tell you how extremely irritating I am finding the scenes between Susan and her mother. Mother is so far over the top, she's out of sight. At one point, she picks up dates for her and Susan and brings them back home. Of course they are basically louts. Later she knocks on Mike's door to tell him Susan is still madly in love with him. He has just learned that "Deidre" (the person he has been trying to find) was the bones in the toybox, so he gets rid of her. I wish the show would get rid of her. ;-) )

Andrew talks to a priest about his feelings, and tells him of his shocking plans for his mother, Bree. (Yeah, well sorta. You probably saw most of this part. Bree can't stand the thought of a gay son being incarcerated with 200 boys, so they remove him from the "camp". Her next mission is to "turn him straight" via Christianity. Eventually, he visits the priest and comes up with a plan. He will be the best son in the world and when the time is right, he will blindside her.)

Carlos sends Gabrielle a big message about what will happen if she leaves him. Gabrielle has her credit card declined in an upscale restaurant. (Carlos takes away her credit cards and her ATM privileges in an attempt to get back into her bed. She won't allow this until he tears up the post-nuptial agreement. When she tells John, he insists she take his credit card. She goes shopping with it, and it is later declined in a restaurant because John's mother, who cosigned for it, was notified of "suspicious activity" on it and cancelled it. )
