tvordljI went over to the mall last night with my mate Tracey. She had some baby stuff to pick up but she also wanted to get fitted properly for a bra and maybe find a nice shiny new one. She wanted to go into La Senza which has expanded it's store considerably and is full of very bright new colours. I thought i was standing in a jelly bean factory! They did have some black, white and beige bras but they were definitely outnumbered and not a sexy red one in the store either. Their sizes don't come near to fitting me but it was interesting to see all the styles of the various unmentionables. She did find one, in a lime green! I guess her fella won't have any trouble finding her in the dark ;)
Down the hall we wandered towards Cotton Ginny and lo and behold!!! Lush has opened up! :) Yayyyyyy! Didn't quite manage to walk past the store without going in and i didn't quite manage to get out of the store without a yellow bag in hand. But i still have a lot of stuff left that i bought in Manchester so i didn't do too much damage. A fresh face mask and a small chai shower gel. I shall try the mask tonight and see if it makes me glow ;) The woman that waited on me is the manager of the Vancouver store and they have brought her in to run this one, not sure if it's permanent or just until it gets up and running well and the staff is more trained. She was great though and gave me a little sample of one of the face creams i wanted to try. I bought two different ones before but both of them are a bit heavy for my skin type. One i've hardly used at all. Anyone on my flist locally that has really dry skin want to try it? It's hyperallergenic, no fragrances.
