It wasn't a bus i was on coming home tonight. It was a frigging day care center! There were, at any given time, 3 strollers with babies in them on the bus and when i got off the bus, all three were crowded at the front of the bus! At least, thank the Gods and Goddesses of the Sanctity of My Last Nerve they were all quiet!

I had a really busy day, i didn't even take a break for lunch until about 2:30 but i got a lot accomplished with the help of a coworker. After work, there was an unofficial retirement do for a woman who had worked there for 31 years. She and her husband have made plans to travel to Viet Nam for a month! How's that for a celebration of your newfound freedom!

Not sure what's planned for the weekend. Do need to tidy up. Should do some painting too.

I know it's not very charitable and I have kids, but if I am getting on a plane and I see a baby I pray it will NOT sit anywhere near me lol

It's not even babies (under the age of 1) that bother me. If they're crying, it's for a good reason. It's toddlers and under 10's that take tantrums and misbehave and the parents that let them run rampant. I was on a plane from Manchester to Toronto once, sat behind these two slappers who lifted their bare feet up against the wall of the bulkhead and ignored their two small kids. The older one ran up and down the aisles teh whole time and the younger, poor thing was sick from a cold and ear infection and whining and the mother kept pushing him away so he wandered a bit and smacked several passengers on their legs and the poor baby only wanted a cuddle. In the customs lineup later, an older woman noted the four and said to me some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids.
