tvordlj1. Do you work hard or do you take the easy way out?
Generally try to find the easiest way around it. Most IT Programmers tend to do that. Why make more work for yourself?
2. How's your day going?
Ok. Quietish.
3. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
counting all types of footwear, probably more than i think i have but i'll guess at a dozen.
4. Do you consider yourself cool?
Sometimes i guess. Not in with the "cool" crowd or trendsetters but i'm a very cool auntie and i do have my moments.
5. What's the last song you listened to?
Haven't had any music on since Monday i think and i can't remember the last song there.
Speaking of songs, one of the local radio stations that has been limping along with various types of formats has changed to FM and is playing all classic rock and it's a pretty good station. Seems to be hitting at least a 90% approval rating from me, i.e. i like about 90% of the stuff they play over all. The problem with "oldies" stations is that they usually don't play the oldies songs i like, and instead trot out all the tired same-old-same-old tunes. This station, so far, seems to be picking good stuff, B-sides, other album cuts etc. I have picked up the occasional tired moldy oldy like Born to be Wild which is probably the most overused and cliche song evah these days, now that it's in every movie, every tv commercial gahhhh....
I digress...
Anyway, the station used to be CHNS on the AM band and it's now HAL FM at 89.9 on the FM band though i think the call letters are still CHNS. The website is crap as far as shedules, who's the DJ and what, if any, shows they have on, but it has a Listen Live thing. I don't know if they will have any themed shows or hours at all, and i've emailed once or twice and they've never sent even an acknowledgement which is poor PR. I should ring them sometime.
