Toothless

The tooth came out... he had to fight it out though, it wouldn't give up easily. That meant some drilling. Of course i was frozen so it didn't hurt in that way but they do distort your mouth and tongue and force the jaw to open farther than it's meant to. I thought it would dislocate like a snake's a couple of times LOL! It's swollen a bit today and achy from the pushing and pulling and where the needles went in. There's a great gaping hole there in the back (second last bottom molar) and the remaining two teeth are "biting" my tongue. Have to go back to get stitches out in a week, he decided against the dissolving ones because these are stronger for healing.

I wasn't going to come into work today but now i'm here i feel ok. Still don't have the computer back yet. Will touch base with Joe today to see if he has news. Hope i have it back for the weekend at least.

I once had a molar pulled without the benefit of pain reliever. The dentist gave me 4 shots of novacaine, but the pain was so intense that my body was blocking the effects of the novacaine. He asked, if I wanted to reschedule, or did I want him to pull it anyway? I said get the damned thing out of my mouth. After about 5 minutes of twisting and prodding it finally came loose. The relief from the pain was instantaneous. I never want to go through that again.

Yikes! Well he struggled with this for 30 minutes or more, with the drilling and pulling. I'm still getting pain in my jaw but the stitches cojme out today so i'll just have them look at it to make sure it's just still bruised or whatever.
