Gosh it's so cold in the mornings now. Yesterday was windy too and i nearly froze without a scarf around my neck. *sigh* it's always such a shock to the system, those first cold mornings waiting for the bus. I wish i didn't have to get used to it. I wish i lived somewhere where it wasn't *quite* so cold. It doesn't have to be a warm climate, and i actually don't mind frosty mornings that are wind-free but they are few and far between here.

I think i have all my gifts wrapped and packed, the ones that i have to put in the mail this week. Everything else can wait but the postman can't. I"m not even going to think about how much it's going to cost me! A few of them are very small and i just think of the cost of the postage plus stamps for cards as part of the overall Christmas budget :)

I had really good luck with Amazon.co.uk too. I know in the past i have seen a lot of people grumble about presents going missing or being out of stock even on early ordering. I put in an order on the weekend to be delivered to gramie_dee's dad's house (for safe keeping). It was dispatched on Monday and it arrived on Tuesday. According to the email, nothing was missing or "to send later". Guess i got lucky! I've only got two more gifts to buy, too and then i'm done! Yay Me!

No, will be spending Christmas and New Year here at home. He's planning to come here for the first two weeks of March, pending his holiday time off approval.
