Another article on Samia's Visit by Halifax Herald columnist Peter Duffy with a photo. I humbly say i inspired the photo as after things had finished i went over to Mike and massaged his shoulders and neck. He looked like he needed it and Peter later asked Samia if she would adopt the same pose for the photo :) The column talks about the disappointing turnout. I have to say though, those of us that went had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I personally think the key problem wasn't just that there wasn't enough advertisement and i thought the price of admission was fair; it was that "Maria" isn't as central a character. People don't seem to be able to separate the character from the actor a lot of the times. Do they not realize they can ask this actor about the other actors who may be their individual favourites? Samia had lots of info and behind the scenes goss that was good fun and she also did reveal many spoilers but all of the ones she spoke about have already aired in the UK.

That column may only be online for a few days until Duffy's next one, i'm not sure. Archived articles are by subscription i believe.

I'm a Peter Duffy fan, but haven't watched even 1 episode of Coronation Street. Sorry the turn out wasn't that great though.
