tvordljToo much agro, too many continuity flubs, I didn’t enjoy this week overall. I want Joe to go away. I want Dev to go away.
Line of the Day: Kirk “I reckon I’ve got a look of that Russell Crowe” (as if!)
Don’t you hate it when they make Les sympathetic? Toyah’s art teacher must be a contortionist, how else can he walk and talk so well with his head so far up his own backside? Looks like Toyah and Fizz must have repainted. Most of the extra decoration is gone other than a few flowers. Looks very bright and cheery though.
How many times is Mike going to wonder if he made a mistake taking on Joe? And it’s not like Mike to back down. So what if he told Dev that Joe had been inside? If Geena hadn’t been involved with Joe, Dev wouldn’t have thought twice aside from an “are you sure you know what you’re doing” comment. Joe is a hothead and is a fight always looking for a place to happen. Sure Dev provoked him but it wasn’t that difficult was it? And Dev is as much or more to blame. He can’t leave it alone, couldn’t get Joe in the nick so he is trying to break up him and Geena. Joe even admitted to Dev that he did indeed rob the warehouse. Smart. Gotta hand it to Joe though, he’s got more nerve than Dick Tracy, selling that stock back to Naveen for cash and all! No wonder Naveen is going bust. He’s not too bright is he? Provoked or not, Joe does deserve to get arrested for assault. In the real world where criminals have been known to sue their victims for assault and win, Joe would probably go down for it too. Please? And put me out of my misery?
I think the writers are losing their minds too. First Audrey was going to take David to the bowling alley and eat there. Then at the house after the radio thing, she said she was going to get the tea started, then back at Gail’s she said they had tea at the bowling alley. And what’s with that family portrait? They put all the small ones in back? And on the staircase????? How stupid is that? And why didn’t they just take the family portrait at the wedding when everyone was dressed up then? That’s when most people do it if it’s possible.
So nobody’s going to be suspicious of Kirk if he’s at an art exhibition? No probably not. They’ll think he’s part of the slob culture piece.
Maxine is worried Joshua would be traumatized by the church. I say he’ll be traumatized by that horrid outfit she had him in. At least he won’t be traumatized by having a composer for a middle name. Seems odd there was nobody at the church besides the family. I thought they were doing the catering at the Rovers? That huge long list of food for what? 7 or 8 people? Oh I don’t know.
