Not leaving on a jet plane

Have decided... i just don't think i have the strength or lung capacity (or a flack jacket strong enough to deflect the slings and arrows of angry passengers after the 349th time i go into a coughing fit over the North Atlantic) to fly tomorrow. Am waiting to hear back from Air Canada as to when i can go back. All direct flights to Halifax booked!!!! They've cut back to four a week from 7 and i don't want to stay here until next week so i'll have to fly probably through Montreal. That's the first plan of action. Cross your bits it works out so i'm home by the weekend.

Gary is a star, unqualified and absolute. After two week's of my sister's chatter, he's now got his house turned into a TB ward from the sounds of me. Can't thank him enough and will be buying him something very special on his next visit to Canada.

I do feel a bit better than yesterday so i can tell the meds are working but there's a way to go yet.

I think i've got it sorted. I didn't need this, not feeling this way. Air Canada's medical situation guy that i dealt with today, Mel, was great and they have done a great job as well. It was just frustrating waiting for people to call back, between the doctor office and such and then connecting them together etc. It looks like Friday through Montreal definitely unless they can manage Saturday to Halifax directly would be the ideal and they'll keep looking for that.
