Line of the Day: Kirk to Norris "Did you know that dead people fart?" Norris face was a picture! Deirdre "You're a man, Ken, do us all a favour and start acting like one!" and patter between Betty and Norris "What's he doing in the box?" "I took him for a walk" (ROFL, it's so absurd but with Norris you would almost believe it!) "You're addled!" And then Emily "Try not to kill this one, too, Norris"

Poor Roy, one man trying to make a difference. You've got to admire him for his tenacity. Everyone else was all gung ho and then lost interest. Hayley's face was a picture when Roy suggested they buy and expand the caff and she give up her job! Well, like Curly says, Roy really does need to learn to let th ings go once you've done what you can. He just thinks he can always do more!

All that support from friends and neighbours only fed Ken's guilt to the point of resignation of his job and dragging up all his insecurities and failures. He thinks after everything he's done in his life, this is the thing he'll be remembered for. He's right, it will, especially if he just rolls over and gives up. Ken's principles made him the man he is, yep… a martyr, and his principles have *always* meant more to him than even family. Principles never stopped him from being a serial adulterer though. Can you say Hypocrite? Ok, ok, but you all know I never liked him. Deirdre's rant sure turned Ken's views around dramatically. Is that even possible to change views that fast? Now Aidan's a bully and good people shouldn't have to suffer that, they should stand up to them like Ken finally did when he lashed out. It shouldn't have taken Deirdre's frustrated rant to get that through his head. Everyone else had been telling him that all along. It's them misplaced principles again.

What Richard is doing to Audrey, and how he's doing it, as nasty as it is, making her think she's getting forgetful, having memory blanks, it's quite clever really. He nearly had heart failure when she had the locks changed but this too shall pass. I have to chuckle every time he flashes one of those "smug b*stard" looks behind her back, don't you? He's soooooo good at it! Brilliant acting by Brian Capron, just subtle enough NOT to be over the top.

Actually Eileen does seem to be an unfair mother. Jason's dream was to be an athlete and she never supported it and it was every bit as important to Jason as Todd's education is. Sarah's finally got some sense wanting to focus on the important things and Jason's words went a lot further than mother's nagging to get Todd to focus on what's important. Yet his mother is never satisfied is she? Sarah's not good enough but some posh bird is too good. I want to see Eileen get a new man, a really nice one like Dennis was.

Mr. Woo Two…. Frankly I can't stand them little fluffy lap dogs. The storyline was cute, giving Emily something to do for a change too. Rosie actually had lines and a proper scene! Teenage girls vowing no more lads. Yeah, right! You see the women friends having chats, discussing their lives and problems all the time. It's nice to see blokes do it too, re Kevin and Curly. Wouldn't most people take their luggage right up to the flat and then come down to the shop? Luggage just gets in the way for customers coming and going for heaven's sake.

Sally and Kevin…. Here we go yet a-frigging-gain!!! Time's right to be together but don't let anyone else know about it! Some "new start" that is! Sally clearly has no concern for Kevin's feelings. Pah.
