Just a few more weeks until Graham arrives! Woot! We're going to go to New Brunswick for a couple of days to see one of those historic reenactment type villages, King's Landing. Will take Mom and drop her off at some relatives in the general area and pick her up on the way back as she'd been wanting to visit there for awhile. Also, will drop in on my friend in Moncton as well if she's available. I've booked tickets for Neptune Theatre's production of Frankenstein. That should be interesting. It's a preview performance but the first couple of nights are and the official opening night is the night before he leaves and he preferred not to go that night, our last together for awhile.

Next year, he may come here in May instead of the Fall which means I won't be going over until the fall but it will have to be November as we have a municipal election in October and I have to be here for that due to work requirements. So if we go to Rome, it will be later in the year. Probably better for hotel prices at least. Not so sure about the weather but at least it won't be stinking hot. Everytime we go somewhere, the weather usually isn't bright and sunny most of the time anyway so i guess we should be used to it.

Sis is getting married while he's here. I have a dress but he needs shoes and a shirt so we'll get something and i picked up a pretty scarf/shawl on the weekend to go with the dress. Gotta schedule my pedicure and get my hair done too in the next couple of weeks.

Work is a bit of a pain today as the network seems really, really slow. :(

You know i love my eReader, and i've read over 50 books on it since i got it. The navigational pad is actually coming away from the reader on once side so I'm thinking i might have to take it back but it would be replaced with the newer touch version which might be good for me. I've checked with the Kobo people and they don't mind if i take it to the Chapters store to have it replaced if the store will do it, rather than have to send it away. I have the receipt and the eReader has a one year waranty but the Kobo people said that the stores may not have a full year waranty. See, Chapters (in the U. S. Barnes and Noble) sell the Nook but they are agents and though Kobo gives you a one year waranty, the store itself doesn't have to honour that, they can just say no, it's past the 30 days or whatever their policy is and i'd have to send it back to Kobo. I think the store will honour it though, as long as Kobo is fine with it which they are, so they tell me. Still with me? Anyway i was thinking of getting it replaced but maybe waiting until i have my current books finished. Or not, i can just make a note of what page i was on before reloading the new one, i suppose. Not all of them will be syncable with Kobo online because they aren't all bought through them.

Sounds as if you have planned another nice holiday with Graham. I'm looking forward to some pics of L's wedding. :)
