tvordljAbsolutely vile and frustrating day yesterday with things that used to work that aren't anymore and the guy who's job it is to administer the software doesn't know either. Hoping he can help me today and we can figure it out. Someone else gave me a server name to change to and it turned out to be the wrong one. Others that wanted changes keep forgetting to test and get back to me. Some upcoming changes in the servers and other environments are going to make things overwhelmingly complicated. Gosh, retirement is looking good these days even if i would be poor. The problem is, i can't even consider it for about 18 months yet so all this headache on the horizon is still going to have to be got through anyway.
Still have lingering symptoms from my cold.
On the plus side, we had a family bbq for Justin's birthday last night and laughed pretty much the whole time. While sis was trying to tell a story, kept getting interrupted and couldn't get to the "punchline", Ryan came out with the line of the night "Can we get to the laughing part soon?" Far funnier than the end of the story which stopped everyone silent lol!!!! :P
Today the sun is out. First time all week. And it's been cold as well. If this week is anything to go by we're probably in for a very lousy summer, weather wise.
