Cool and overcast here in Victoria this morning. my cousin's little fellow is playing soccer and they've gone to watch but i wasn't really into sitting outside in the cold. I suppose i should have gone but i'm still adjusting to the time as well. Woke up about 3:30 to wee and then again at 7:30. Got up then and read for awhile and came up to the house about 9:30...Oh yes, they have a little guest house :) Well it's a storage shed or garage that they've converted half into a nice guest bedroom and little powder room. Very nice :)

We're going to the town of Sidney which is near the airport i think. They have a really good fish and chip restaurant there and some nice little shops. Tonight my aunt, cousin's wife Vanessa and i are going to a movie, Under the Tuscan Sun.

Good to see that you arrived safely!

Lots of neat little stores in downtown Victoria... couple cool Christmas stores...I miss those. A chocolate shop that made chocolates to die for ..Rogers? Rogets? Can't remember.

A neat restaurant I liked called Pagliachi's I think. It always used to draw a bit of a crowd but might not be the same now.

Wish I could have hid in your suitcase!

Rogers Chocolate, yes. Ange mentioned that one. Any chocolate of course is a good thing :)

"Under the Tuscan Sun"? Bleeehhh. I've never even *heard* of it but with a name like that, it's bound to suck! I bet it has loads of tanned guys in sunhats getting it on with maids or something like that. And two of the main characters fall in love even though they're from different worlds. Maybe one dies tragically at the end? Just taking a guess, based purely on the title...

Oh how I LONG for the day when you'll post "Tonight I'm going to see 'Zombie Nurses In Heat' and 'Frankenstein Meets Satan' on a double bill at the drive-in!"...

ROFL you daft beggar! UTTS is definitely a chick flick, a woman in her early 40's post divorce buys a run down Italian villa, makes friends with the locals, has a fling with an impossibly handsome Italian but ends up happy and content and alone for the moment. You wouldn't like it :) I might go to see something along the lines of Shirley Frankenstein (goes to Greece, stays there, is happy ever after) Or hey how about a Zombie version of Gone with the Wind? ;)))

Hahahaha - top idea! You should write it!!

Yes, good point. It is quite an issue for the undead - particularly strong gusts blowing body parts off.
