Enough for today
Nov. 9th, 2002 03:09 pmDidn't procrastinate. yay. Cleared out 6 months worth of newspapers to recycle, took down to the underground parking garage along with the empty dvd box and foam fillers from the printer box, some old shoes and a blue bag of recyclables. We can leave useful things on a metal shelving unit along with the recyclable stuff that gets taken away and other people can just help themselves. I'll see if my sister wants the old printer for one of the kids else that's going down there too. Dining room cleared up as well, sewing machine taken down and put away, pattern pieces picked up and stuffed in envelope (they're worse than refolding a road map i swear!)
Then... the kitchen... argh.... Well it isn't spic and span spotless but it's a hell of a lot better than it was. throughly cleaned microwave, toaster, blender, countertops, surrounding wall bits, and the stove. That will include new foil under the burners and the burner rings scrubbed. Didn't clean the oven because that's a huge job and was too exhausted to pull out the stove so that will ahve to wait for another day/burst of energy along with the fridge. Floor is clean now. phew! I HATE cleaning, don't find it therapeutic at all. I always used to know when one of my best friends, Jo, was upset as she would say ... oh i scrubbed down the walls today. "What's wrong..."
I need to run the vaccuum, probably tomorrow. Need to do laundry but i need loonies (dollar coins) so will finally get in the shower and hose myself down and go over to the corner store for a slice of pizza and some change. Maybe even rent myself a dvd for tonight if they have anything that appeals.
I've just got on the commentary for the Rocky Horror dvd...which has a UK and a US version and i still can't see the difference. Does anyone more familiar with the two know?
