Surprised

I just realized 15 minutes ago that this is indeed Thursday and i am OFF WORK tomorrow!!! Wahey! Sis call me tonight re tomorrow, even if we can meet for a quick tea at the mall or do you want to come to my house to see the dress?

Am off to dinner in an hour with a friend. I think we might try a new Italian place not far from here. It can't be far because


It's FUCKING RAINING AGAIN

And we don't want to have to walk very far in the rain.

Via Corsa

The Italian place, called Corsa, was small but nice. It's in an old building so it has somewhat higher ceilings than usual, walls painted terra cotta with wrought iron wall mounted candle holders. Some tables with comfy chairs and some wooden sets. There's an outdoor patio but... well it was very wet. The food was pretty good and reasonable, i had a starter and a pasta, glass of wine and coffee for 32$ with tax so not bad. Wine choice (too limited to be called a "list") wasn't much, though adequate. Menu wasn't very large but what we had was really good. Pate for starter and a veggie and bread platter with melted seasoned butter to dip. The angel hair pasta with jumbo shrimp was reallllly good. too full for dessert.

Now i have to nip out to Tracey's to learn her security system so i can feed her cats over the weekend. *puts sticky note on computer that says CATS*
