(no subject)

sammantha popped into my office and invited me to lunch and gave me a valentine's pressie, a foot high soft "Animal" (of Muppet show fame!!) :) He's very cool!

Also bought a calendar of Giraffes, they were marked down to $2.99 so i bought one for my niece too as she also loves them. I might try to paint one. There's one photo that's quite nice though it's cheating a bit, it's a giraffe silhouette against a bright sunset orange sky and some tree branches. Would be striking though.

Got a delivery of a few items that the newspaper sent me for publishing my travel photo of me and the giraffe. There's a water bottle, a pen on a string and a tshirt which is impossibly small. It's a medium and it might fit my niece or it might fit my friend Jo's daughter better as she's very slender. Also in the mail a newsletter from LUSH. Damn. all those lovely products just laying there tempting me!!!

Oh and i booked my tickets for the UK for July. Cost a lot but it cost more this week than last !!! The closer to the date, as the flight fills up, the cheaper seats are taken. High season, pricey. Also booked a flight from Manchester to Cork and then Cork to Heathrow. I'm going to a wedding in Cork, see. But it's done and dusted, just not paid for. Will be by the time i leave though :)
