sammantha has been writing about rainbows and it brought to mind my rainbow story. The best and most amazing "rainbow" i ever saw was in the Scottish Highlands. The day was mostly overcast with some sunny breaks. I don't know if it was because of the mist or because we were high above sea level but we drove past a flat moor/field near Rannoch Moor and the "rainbow" was just layers of colour on the ground, like just pools of colour sort of. You could see it rising from the ground, well not moving/rising, just that you could see the layers almost from the ground up a few feet or so. It's hard to explain. We drove past another spot not far from that and the colours were in the air over the trees but not in an arc, just again, it's like the colours were layered in the mist or the air. The pic of the ground one came out if you look carefully, you can see all the different colours, the one over the trees really didn't. I don't know if this is going to work, i'll put it behind a tag but if it doesn't appear, i'll fix it when i get home.
