Happy 21st Birthday for yesterday,
melly_issa!!!
Had a friend call me Friday night wanting to go to a movie. Wasn't sure my back would be up to a theatre seat that isnt' always comfy so she came for a visit instead. Hopefully this will be the last weekend of enforced rest for my back. I guess i could go out, nothing really stopping me but it's just so much bother when i can't always get comfortable and most places i would want to go, i'd be walking and standing and that's still not comfy either.
I don't know what this is, but at the end of Corrie on Sunday these days when there's a bit of time left, they have this short feature that is sort of like a documentary with claymation animals being interviewed. Today's is talking to animals in a pet shop about what it's like being in a pet shop or what they think of other animals as pets. It is a British production because they all have various UK accents and the prices are pounds sterling on the cages. dogs, cats, birds, fish, lizards. There's a hound dog with a Geordie accent, Stick insects making fun of a dog in a cage, *snicker*, and you can see the end of a big microphone sticking in the side of the shot. A little rodent of course doesn't like snakes because they eat small animals right? lol Anyone know what this is? They actually showed credits though and it's created by Nick Park. Should have known. He's the Wallace and Grommit bloke. It's very giggleish :) I've seen it a few weeks now. Edit hmmm a bit of judicious googling and i think it's clips from Creature Comforts and i *so* need this! *Christmas gift hint!* I saw Nick Park's Robbie the Reindeer last winter and that was wild too!
