Nov. 18th, 2005 03:13 pmWell whaddya know!? I had some Pounds Sterling in cash in preparation for my trip which is now canceled so i decided to get a money order in £ to send to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
gramie_dee so he could get one of his Christmas presents that i had to buy over there (new phone... yes he knows about it). I went into the bank, CIBC on Barrington St., and asked if i could get a money order in £ and pay for it in £ without converting the cash to CA$ and back to £. (got that?) The lady, she say Yes! Saves a bit of loss on the exchange conversion to and fro and i converted the rest of the cash to CA$ and paid that directly on my Visa to cover the corrie dvd's i bought from an eBay shop.
Heading back to Mom's for the weekend after work and am going to have a ride on the new express MetroLink! I think my niece is picking me up at the terminal out there. What a difference in the temperature from yesterday. It was warm, foggy and rainy yesterday in the mid teen's and today is in the single digits. It was 2 this morning when i left for work! Brrr...
At least the sun is out.
