Looks like Halifax may be hosting a Paul McCartney concert in the near future. Word around work says it's almost a done deal, and the media is saying it's just waiting for Sir Paul to say yay or nay. His people have been here scouting and were apparently pleased. Halifax has lost a lot of good concerts to Moncton in the next province so are getting a bit desperate to redeem themselves. McCartney would be a coup though I wouldn't bother going because I saw him in Manchester in 2003. Even then, he wouldn't have been my first choice because I was always more of a Stones gal but my friends were going so i went too and it was a damn good concert even if we were up in the nosebleed seats in the MEN arena! I've seen him once so i doubt i'll spend over $100 to see him again, which is no doubt what the tickets will cost. Seeing the Stones was probably the best concert i've been to as well, even if it rained! Now if we could only get the likes of AC/DC or Led Zep here or even Elton John, i'd be happy! I gave up on Queen, even though they're still touring with Paul Rogers at the helm. It's just not the same without Freddie.

I've finally got my journal typed up. Now i have to edit it a bit and put it on web pages with a few photos and added links. Stay tuned.

You know you always have to wait to get in to see the doctory. You're there on time but they're always running behind. Today was no different. Well, yes, it was. Today i had to wait nearly an hour and a half, a new record i think. I asked her, is there a correlation between how long a patient waits to how high the blood pressure is? She said it depends how snarky one is with the wait and i said um. an hour and a half? She did apologize and said that she had something major happen midday that put her an hour behind and she never did catch up. I know it's not her fault, i do appreciate that she doesn't rush her patients through the office, i really do. Doesn't make it any easier to sit there and watch everyone else go in ahead of you. On the plus side, i was down three pounds. Doesn't sound like much, i know, but after being on holiday, you don't usually lose weight, you usually gain it so i guess all that walking did the trick! Weather is getting better too, so i'll be able to get more fresh air and get out walking more.

Here's the travelogue. I know there are a few people that have asked about it. Excuse spelling and such. I also think i'll sit down on the weekend and add historic links and things since i usually do that as well.
