(no subject)

Got tired of crawling under my desk at work to plug things into the socket. It doesn't apply to the computer gear, that stuff stays plugged in all the time anyway but if i have something, like my phone charger, for instance, then i have to crawl under the dusty desk. I went to The Source and thought i would just get an extension cord but it would defeat the purpose to leave it plugged in without actually using it, it could be dangerous so i ended up with a small surge protector that has an on-off switch. A little bit of overkill for what I need it for but it's a little safer.

Everyone's excited about the Sex in the City movie opening this weekend. Except me. I never watched the show. I'm a bit iffy on these reunion tv shows and movies anyway. If a television series has ended, it's usually because it reached its sell-by date, no matter how much you might like the characters. Revisiting them a few years later or more, i'm not sure what the point is other than to milk money out of the former fans and most of the time, the revisit is never as satisfying. I'm sure there are exceptions that prove the rule but I can't think of any at the moment.

Thanks to the evils of Facebook i have succumbed to posting photos of myself and my family from when i was a kid and at school, all the way up to about the mid 1980s though there's only two of those. I shall be brave and post the link here. I hope you can view them, i used the share link thingy.
