Doctor's appointment went fine. Got there a tad early and was taken straight in. All is well. he said I was low risk all along and now, 3 years after, i'm that much more. You don't get the all clear until five years but each year there are no other symptoms, things are good. One thing I do need to do is get a mammogram as I'm overdue.

Since we were early, and had time to kill, we went to the movies and saw Captain America: Civil War which was more about all the Avengers and was pretty good. I'm not keen on Ant Man and I have always found Spiderman irritating but do really enjoy Ironman which has more to do with Robert Downey Jr.'s performance. There was another new hero, the Black Panther was quite awesome as well.

We went to a nearby pub after that. One of my coworkers was retiring and I wanted to say good luck. Have known him the whole time I've worked there though we weren't close. He worked in the Finance department rather than IT but we've known each other and he's a nice guy. Ever since I started, for much of the time over the years, IT and Finance were part of the same business unit, off and on and a lot of what I do is for the Finance people. This guy has actually been in the Fire Department for a number of years no so I haven't crossed paths with him as often. The other plus to the retirement do is seeing people that I haven't seen for ages, other retirees and one of my former managers as well.

Off to my cousin's tonight, they're having us over and doing a barbeque, steaks, corn, salad, etc. Groceries tomorrow.
