What did i do today? Painting class. Week 4. I think i'm ready to expose my efforts. Keep in mind the colours in the first photo aren't true. The others are a bit better, taken under natural light rather than a house lamp. It still needs work, better mountains and sky touch up and i might lighten the rocks a bit we'll see. Check out the four stages so far

Went to my mom's after, to give her a birthday present and see my cousin Debbe whom i haven't seen in about 5 years i guess. She lives out in the country and i don't know, we just don't really cross paths that much. She and i have always looked quite a bit alike but she's really the image of my late Nan in her stature and looks. Her daughter looks nothing like our side of the family. I saw photos of her husband's family and her daughter is definitely of that line.

Hey, you've got some talent! I think you are right about the boat. It is the weakest link. Either work on it some more or eliminate it. Painting is fun, eh what?

Well i'm going to keep the bigger boat, it was a little brown one i added that is going to go. It'll depend on how it looks when the mountains are done. Really, the boat should be much smaller

I'm most impressed. I'm no art critic, but if I were to do any such thing, I'm positive no one could even tell what it was supposed to be. You've got talent, girl! Flaunt it!

Ever watch Murphy Brown? I'm reminded of the time Eldon and Murphy showed Avery's drawing at an exhibit and the critics were all over it like Tracy Barlow to a man.
