The Tall Ships are coming to Halifax Thursday for the weekend, with the Parade of Sail on Monday afternoon. CBC has a website with all the info on the activities as well as profiles of the ships and a live webcam of the harbour. More information here as well.

Have Camera, have telephoto lense, will be braving the crowds. Also going on are festivals and the Acadian Grou Tyme festival, celebrating the 400th anniversary of the first colonization of Nova Scotia by the French in 1604.

I love the Tall Ships! One of my oldest friend's boyfriend works on them during the summer months in Cornwall, taking kids out on training cruises. A lovely job, but obviously seasonal and it pays a pittance, so guess who supports who financially in that relationship!! ;-)
