Assault on the Mall

tvordljYay, all my Christmas shopping is now done after a full frontal assault on the mall this morning. I may still pick up a small item or two but all the main pressies for folks are bought which is very satisfying. Yes i know, you hate me LOL I'm not that organized really, it's more an intense dislike to go into the stores in December! Got some good sales too which helps. Will put my artificial tree up soon. Cards will be mailed by next week.
Am very glad this week is over and i don't have to deal with perfectionist pedantic obsessive "Solid Waste Analyst" (is that another way to say shit disturber?) He emails me yesterday morning saying there seems to be a problem with a report. It's showing the same number in two spaces where there should be no number in the second. He's noticed this before and just scratched it out mostly. Could i verify this? Yep. I verified it. It's a bug in the report. I emailed him back. "i fixed it, mind you, after this afternoon (a mere 5 hours away) it won't be an issue as that part of the report is changed (as he knows) and that second number will no longer be on the report anyway. Proper procedure for fixing a problem in a production report is to report it to the help desk and they forward the incident to me and i schedule it". Silly sod.
Got my vacation approved for over the Christmas Holidays so I'm off from Christmas to the monday after New years. Have to work the 24th though it is usually a half day.
